Purveyors of fine wave sliding tools, wheeled vehicles and limited edition clothing
We've been making boards under a couple of different guises since the late nineties, it eventually culminated in Seed being started in 2006.
We wanted to carrry on the high quality handmade stuff we had been doing in previous years and add more products and a new idea that everthing could be made and produced under one roof, instead of bringing in souless mass produced products from the far east.
So in this time we started to look for a new bigger factory to host everything we wanted to do, whilst setting up the website and starting to produce some of the first pieces of clothing.
We eventually found our new factory in Wadebridge and moved in Febuary 2008. We built in a clean new shaping bay and glassing room and incorporated a small print business to make our art driven tee's and limited edition organic clothing.
With this done we spent a busy summer with boards going out the door, waiting for winter time to set-up a little shop and gallery at the front at the factory.
So after alot of blood sweat and tears we opened our humble little shop and gallery on the 3rd of May 2009. We will stocking all our own stuff made in house, from finely crafted surf boards and longboard skateboards to hand printed, hand designed organic tee's and sweatshirts. We'll also be stocking hand foiled true ames fins, creatures of leisure leashes and sticky bumps wax.
As well as the hardware and software we'll have constantly changing artwork hanging on the walls and exhibition's to promote local artists with more opening nights to enjoy over the summer!! So keep your eyes peeled!!!
At the moment we have beautiful mixed media pieces and photo's from local slider Dan Crockett along with the fluid lines and simplistic stylings of Keiron 'seamouse' Lewis.
So drop in and say hey if you're round these parts after a couple of waves and grab a cuppa on us!!!
